The Visit Jackson Tourism Funding Programs are offered to enhance visitor and tourism promotional efforts and tourism product development for events, attractions, and meetings held in the city of Jackson.
TOURISM EVENT FUNDING PROGRAM
This program provides funds for marketing, product development, and other qualified expenses directed toward increasing the number of overnight visitors to Jackson, MS, from outside the area. Events must demonstrate the ability to generate a significant positive economic impact for the City of Jackson.
CONVENTION & MEETING SUPPORT PROGRAM
Designed to enhance conferences, meetings, and trade shows, qualified applicants must demonstrate the capability to generate a positive economic impact by attracting verifiable delegates or attendees from outside the Jackson area to stay overnight in Jackson hotels and patronize Jackson restaurants. Applicants must use Jackson venues and hotels to be eligible to receive Visit Jackson funding. Download the application here.
SPORTS & EQUINE FUNDING SUPPORT
Designed to enhance sporting & equine events in Jackson, qualified applicants must demonstrate the capability to generate a positive economic impact by attracting verifiable participants and attendees from outside the Jackson area to stay overnight in Jackson hotels and patronize Jackson restaurants.
