Are there any direct flights from Jackson?
Direct flights from Jackson as of June 2022 include Atlanta (ATL), Charlotte (CLT), Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW), Houston (IHA and HOU), Miami (MIA), Orlando (MCO), and Washington, D.C. (BWI and DCA).
Is it easy to get in and out of the airport?
Yes. The airport has two terminals and nine gates. Baggage check, security and boarding procedures are faster than a larger airport would be. Experienced travelers can get in and out of the airport more quickly.
That said, according the the Transportation Safety Administration, travelers are strongly encouraged to arrive at JAN 2-hours prior to flight departure and organize carry-on items to ensure ease and adequate processing through TSA Checkpoints. Additionally:
