Crispy Delicious: Fried Chicken in JXN

In Mississippi, we’re definitely not lacking in places to get a good fried chicken meal complete with all the fixings.

Sure, Blue Plate Wednesdays seem to be fried chicken’s starring day, but many other spots offer up the fried bird on the daily.

Rooster’s – Fondren

If you’d rather a chicken sandwich, choose from grilled or fried at Rooster’s. or go for a chicken club, chicken mushroom Swiss or chicken jalapeno sandwich.

Iron Horse Grill – Downtown

While Iron Horse’s menu is extensive, it’s all delicious. And the same can be said for their Chicken Fried Chicken. Iron Horse has been around for years now and there’s a reason people keep coming back. Char – Highland Village

Known for their steaks and delicious brunch, Char also serves up a delicious Country Fried Chicken dish. Served with a side of garlic cheddar grits and red onion bacon gravy, you can’t beat it. You can also find Fried Chicken on the blue-plate menu on Wednesdays. Pick two home-style sides to go along with it and your Southern comfort lunch is complete.
