Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium

The Veterans Memorial Stadium features excellent support facilities including field Lighting for TV, on-site parking for over 4,000 cars (another 4,000 within 2 blocks), excellent flow of traffic in and out, roomy air-conditioned team dressing rooms, a much-copied PA sound system, a three-story Press Box with its own inside PA and elevator, and a 400 car reserved parking lot.

Located at North State Street and Woodrow Wilson Boulevard, this Jackson State University-owned facility is centrally located with excellent access to major highways and four lane traffic arteries. Expanded in 1980, Memorial Stadium seats around 48,000 including 85 elevated wheel chair spaces. The facilities's horse-shoe configuration is ideally suited for concerts, and other performance events. The natural Bermuda grass playing surface has been called the best playing surface in college football.
