Pulito Osteria

Pulito Osteria is an Italian-inspired restaurant with handmade pasta, wood-fired pizza and seasonal Italian cooking curated by Jackson, MS native Chef Chaz Lindsay.

Located at the Belhaven Town Center, Pulito boasts a robust menu filled with thoughtfully curated food and beverages that residents of Jackson are already raving about, praising the restaurant as a new mainstay in the Jackson community. The restaurant offers a menu unlike any other in Mississippi, putting an elegant Southern flair on traditional Italian dishes.

Lindsay waited nearly two decades to realize his dream of bringing his creation to Jackson. “I’ve spent nearly 20 years working alongside several award-winning restaurants around the country,” he Lindsay. “My goal was to take the best parts of those experiences and put them all in one amazing restaurant right here in Belhaven.”

Lindsay picked up his most important lesson while cooking in Italy. “Dishes don’t have to be overly complex. The measure of a great restaurant is its ability to take fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and create something memorable.” Lindsay’s restaurant also prides itself on its scratch-made pasta noodles. “If it’s a pasta restaurant, there can be no compromise. It may take longer, but the proof is in the pasta.”

From pasta to wood-fired pizzas, Pulito offers an up-scale dining experience without the black tie. The restaurant is a reflection of the community, a restaurant for all to enjoy for any occasion. Reflecting its desire for inclusivity and community, Pulito plans to partner with its neighboring business Fertile Ground Beer Co. to allow patrons of the brewery to order wood-fired pizza online and enjoy while in the taproom.
