The Apothecary at Brent’s Drugs
Tucked away in the back of Brent’s Drugs in Fondren, The Apothecary at Brent’s Drugs has become a local favorite over the last several years.
With specialty and seasonal drinks, classic cocktails, small plates, and an ambiance you won’t find anywhere else in Jackson, The Apothecary is perfect for a drink after work, after-dinner drinks, or a relaxing evening on the town.
The Apothecary’s speakeasy-type lounge is set up like a pre-Prohibition bar, with nods to the days of old with their craft cocktails and dim, quaint vibe. For classic drinks in a chill setting, Apothecary should definitely be on your list.
Not only is Apothecary ideal for drinking, but the food menu also offers quirky and delicious snacks and dishes. Snack on Butterbean Hummus, Bar Nuts, or a Cheese Plate to go along with your Gin and Tonic or glass of wine.
Apothecary is also a hit spot for happy hour. The happy hour menu is available daily from 5 to 7 p.m. and includes classic cocktails for just $6 each. Enjoy an Old Fashioned, Moscow Mule, Pimm’s Cup, Dark & Stormy, Sazerac, or house red and white wine.
Whether you’re looking for a cozy place for date night or just a unique, new place to try out, The Apothecary at Brent’s should be on the top of your list. Their website is currently under construction at the moment but check out their Facebook page for more information and menu items. facebook.com/apothecaryjackson
