The Capri Theatre has been an anchor of the Fondren neighborhood many times over its long and storied history

It strikes the perfect balance of preserving the old and embracing the new. The ADA-accessible building has been restored to include original building features while adding state-of-the-art projection and audio technology, 178 reclining seats, a 40-foot screen for movies, and a stage for live entertainment. Hard as it is to believe, The Capri is the only movie theater within the city limits!

The Capri Theatre is a dine-in theatre, featuring an exclusive, full-service food and cocktail menu. Fresh, hot food can be delivered right to your seat including “Movie Nachos,” shrimp wontons, duck spring rolls, hummus & veggies, pimiento cheese, gravy fries, chicken tenders, burgers, shrimp bowl, salads, and chicken or steak quesadillas, and ice cream or white chocolate bread pudding for dessert.

And don’t worry, they didn’t forget about the classics – freshly made popcorn, an assortment of your favorite candy, and ice-cold soda to wash it all down.
