His musical journey began with a deep love for traditional fingerstyle guitar, inspired by artists like John Fahey, but Hayden quickly developed his own voice, weaving together elements of folk, ambient, and avant-garde music. His 2014 debut album, "Five Steps," put him on the map, but it was his 2018 release, "Greetings from Amarillo," that truly showcased his ability to create expansive, cinematic soundscapes that resonate on a personal level.

Hayden’s artistry goes beyond just his music—his creativity shone through in 2019 when he ran an offbeat and memorable campaign for city council in Amarillo, capturing the attention of both his local community and a broader audience.
