Overview
Brother Rogers, MDAH historian, will present “Remembering Elbert Hilliard” as part of the History Is Lunch series. This program will honor Elbert Hilliard’s legacy, who passed away in 2024. Hilliard became the fifth director of MDAH in 1973 and served as the secretary-treasurer of the Mississippi Historical Society for forty-four years. He retired in 2004 after thirty-nine years of public service. The program will take place in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Two Mississippi Museums and stream live on the MDAH Facebook page and YouTube channel. For more information, contact 601-576-6850 or email info@mdah.ms.gov.
