Capital City Lights and Operation Shoestring Partner for Winter Wishes

The 4th Annual Capital City Lights downtown holiday event on December 6 has announced a new partnership with Operation Shoestring for this year's festivities.

Together, the event and the non-profit will host a toy drive called Winter Wishes, spreading joy to children and families throughout our community this holiday season.

Through this drive, attendees and community members are invited to contribute to Operation Shoestring by sponsoring a child, class, or grade level or by dropping off unwrapped or wrapped gifts during the event. Your generosity will help ensure that families in need experience the warmth and happiness that make this season so special.

How to Get Involved:

• Toy Drive: Bring your gifts to the designated drop-off area at Capital City Lights during the event on Friday, December 6.
