The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted a renewed commitment in the travel industry to health and wellness and a responsibility to communicate this commitment actively.

Public health safety for employees, planners and meeting attendees in our city is of utmost importance.

As a destination management organization, Visit Jackson has partnered with dedicated industry professionals to implement extra safety precautions. Our pledge is a shared commitment with you and all meeting participants to keep everyone safe and healthy.

The Mayor of Jackson has extended the City of Jackson’s COVID-19 Executive orders to include mandatory face coverings in all public spaces located within the city.

Our meeting properties have executed enhanced meeting and event space cleaning and safety protocols, utilizing the most current guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Mississippi State Department of Health. The city is also following recommendations from the U.S. Travel Association, APEX COVID-19 Business Recovery Task Force Guidelines, and hotel corporate office protocols. We are committed to executing these guidelines and recommendations.
