MS Sports Hall of Fame and Museum Reopens After Pipe Burst
January 26, 2024
The Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum (MSHOF) will reopen to the public beginning on Friday, January 26, 2024. The MSHOF has been closed since last week due to a pipe bursting in the museum.
“The Museum was very fortunate that there was no damage to any artifacts or memorabilia and that the minimal repairs needed were able to be completed quickly,” said Museum Executive Director, Bill Blackwell. “We welcome visitors back through our doors starting on Friday for our regular museum hours.”
The Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame and Museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. The rental facilities of the museum were not affected and are available to rent for any upcoming parties, conferences, or events. The MSHOF is currently under construction for renovations to the plaza and lobby, but this does not impact the visitor’s museum experience.
