Nipper Named Deputy Director at Fairgrounds

Justin Nipper has been named the Deputy Director of the Mississippi Fairgrounds.

Nipper had previously served as the Marketing and Events Director at the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum since 2020. During his time there, he oversaw eight annual events each year and successfully grew the museum's Pickle Fest from 2,700 to nearly 8,000 attendees. Under his leadership, Pickle Fest was awarded Small Festival/Event of the Year by the Mississippi Tourism Association in 2022.

Nipper has served on the Metro Jackson Attraction Association board for the past four years, holding positions as both Vice President and President. His dedication to creating memorable experiences earned him Visit Jackson's Hometown Hero award in 2022 and 2023 for Festival and Event Organizer.

Nipper lives in Jackson. He is the father of two young boys. He holds a bachelor's degree from Belhaven University and is pursuing a master's in Organizational Leadership.

Nipper's role as Deputy Director of the Mississippi State Fairgrounds utilizies his expertise in event management and community leadership.
