Visit Jackson Media Professionals Among Two Honored by Women for Progress

Visit Jackson celebrates two of its employees, Yolanda Clay-Moore, Director of External Affairs, Partnerships, & Alliances and Andrea Thomas, Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager, both honored by Women for Progress during its recent Outstanding Women in Media awards event held at the Railroad District.
This honor highlighted the contributions of women making a significant impact in the media industry. The recognition is a testament to the dedication, talent, and professionalism that both Yolanda and Andrea have demonstrated in their careers.
Yolanda Clay-Moore, awarded in Media Leadership, is a seasoned communications professional, who has long advocated for promoting Jackson and its diverse offerings through compelling storytelling and strategic media relations. Her innovative approach and relentless commitment to showcasing Jackson's culture, events, and attractions has helped elevate the city’s presence both locally and nationally. Yolanda has been employed at Visit Jackson for over ten years.
Andrea Thomas, awarded in Content Creation, is Visit Jackson’s Social Media and Content Marketing Manager. She has transformed the organization’s digital landscape, developing cutting-edge content and social media strategies that have boosted the city’s tourism visibility. Her work in creating dynamic, engaging media campaigns has not only enhanced Jackson’s image but also fostered stronger connections with visitors and the broader community. Andrea recently celebrated her one-year work anniversary at Visit Jackson.
