Why Pickle Fest?

This isn’t just about pickles. It's about showcasing Mississippi’s agricultural roots, honoring its foodways, and supporting two vital cultural institutions—the Mississippi Agriculture & Forestry Museum and the National Agricultural Aviation Museum. It’s also a way to learn: from fermentation demos by the MS State Extension Service to local stories behind pickled produce.

Named “Best Small Festival in Mississippi” by the Mississippi Tourism Association in 2022, Pickle Fest offers a hands-on, flavor-filled experience for the whole family.
