Visit Jackson Partners with Hinds Community College to Host Hospitality and Culinary Expo

Visit Jackson, the official destination leadership organization for the City of Jackson, announces a partnership with Hinds Community College to host a Hospitality and Culinary Expo on Friday, October 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Hospitality and Culinary Expo will take place at Hinds Community College, located at 3925 Sunset Drive in Jackson, MS. Admission is free.

This event will provide attendees with a unique opportunity to learn about the growing hospitality industry in Jackson and explore potential career paths within the field. The expo will feature a variety of activities, including:

• Cooking Demonstrations: Renowned Jackson chef Nick Wallace will showcase his culinary skills with a live cooking demonstration. Estelle Southern Table will also offer a cooking demonstration.
• Industry Presentations: Experts from the hospitality and culinary industries will share insights on current trends, growth opportunities, and career paths.
• Networking Opportunities: Attendees will have the chance to connect with industry professionals and potential employers.

"At Hinds we have gifted culinary students, and this will also serve them in networking, forming new partnerships and finding future opportunities.”
